Thank You For It All

My sister Shalonda played this for me yesterday and I have had it on repeat ever since! The words are so powerful because not only should we just be thankful for the good times but also the hard times too. Following Christ does not mean your life will forever be rainbow and butterflies - we will suffer just as Christ suffered. But through it all, God will never leave us nor forsake us. Gods never ending, unfailing, relentless love for us gets us through! When He carries us through the hard times - we see the beauty of His power - we see His plan when we finally make it out on the other side. It makes us stronger, more dependent on Him and closer to living our purpose for His Kingdom. We use our struggles as a testimony to Gods goodness and His fulfilled promises!

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations" Psalms 100:4-5 NIV

If you are stuck in the thick of it today or not yet through the hard times do not give up! Keep drawing Him close and remain steadfast in your faithfulness. His plan you may not be able to see but He WILL carry you through. Today, let us be thankful for it all! Amen and all the glory be to GOD!
